Stay Day 2016: Inspiration to Action

The 7th Stay Day: The Student Experience Conference was successfully held at ASUC Student Union on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. The theme was INSPIRATION TO ACTION. There were 52 presenters, 61 volunteers and 18 generous sponsors. 400 attendees from 115 campus departments and 59 academic majors/schools spent the day together to learn and share new ideas and information within student services and to network. The Pecha Kucha keynote session was inspiring and touching.

Hosted by the Division of Student Affairs at Berkeley, Stay Day: The Student Experience Conference is a one day learning event that brings together 400 student service professionals and administrators interested in enhancing the student experience. Conference sessions facilitate discussions of various student experiences and are aimed at improving service through professional development and networking. Capitalizing on the expertise of Berkeley staff, Stay Day is free of charge for employees and is a sustainable model of professional development that withstands challenging economic times.

Four reasons to attend Stay Day:

  2. NETWORK: Meet several campus experts in a short amount of time. Network with others who work in student services at Berkeley.
