November 18, 2020 - Service Update Thanksgiving Week

The Stephen C. Sutton, Ed.D., Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, sent the following message to all undergraduate and graduate students on 11/18/20:

The campus has designated the three days leading up to Thanksgiving, November 23-25, as optional, extended administrative break days for staff to give employees the opportunity to take a much needed extended break during this challenging year.

Many departments and divisions will have a change in hours of operation or limited service during this week. In general, you may experience some delays in service and response times. See below for more details about changes in service for departments within the Division of Student Affairs. If you are a student who is employed at UC Berkeley, we also encourage you to check in with your supervisor about your work schedule.

As a reminder, for those of you living on or near campus, we strongly recommend that you consider remaining in Berkeley for the Thanksgiving holiday, or returning home and remaining there through the end of the semester. Please follow all travel, self sequester, and testing guidance.

Thank you for your understanding and support.  I hope you have a restful and productive Thanksgiving break.
