Police Murder of George Floyd Post-Verdict Activities and Events 

  • The Public Service Center will host virtual spaces for students to be in community, share, and connect following a verdict. Please visit their Facebook page or email publicservice@berkeley.edu for logistics and virtual event registration details.
  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is available to support students by calling (510) 642-9494 to talk to a counselor. Visit their Black Lives Matter page to see additional resources available to all students. 
  • Berkeley Conversations, the online video series designed to connect leading Berkeley professors and researchers with the campus community and the broader public. Previous topics (recordings available) include “Race and responsibility: a conversation on Black-Jewish relations and the fight for equal justice,” “A discussion on reparations: California and beyond,” “The Future of Freedom: Reparations after 400 Years,” “Critical race theory and the 2020 election,” “Race, The Power of an Illusion: The House We Live In,” and more. Future conversations, including conversations about the trail, are currently in process.
