The Public Service Center will host virtual spaces for students to be in community, share, and connect following a verdict. Please visit their Facebook page or email publicservice@berkeley.edu for logistics and virtual event registration details.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is available to support students by calling (510) 642-9494 to talk to a counselor. Visit their Black Lives Matter page to see additional resources available to all students.
Berkeley Conversations, the online video series designed to connect leading Berkeley professors and researchers with the campus community and the broader public. Previous topics (recordings available) include “Race and responsibility: a conversation on Black-Jewish relations and the fight for equal justice,” “A discussion on reparations: California and beyond,” “The Future of Freedom: Reparations after 400 Years,” “Critical race theory and the 2020 election,” “Race, The Power of an Illusion: The House We Live In,” and more. Future conversations, including conversations about the trail, are currently in process.
