FAO Web Tips

Keep Total Page Size to 35-45K
Nobody like to wait for large pages, and most students are coming in from modems. Check your pages out at http://www.cast.org/bobby/ for information about accessibility and total size information.

Group HTML Files into Multiple Directories
Just good practice, you have 452 files.

Put Images Together in Separate Directories
This allows the server to avoid logging image files and keeps the traffic log as small as possible.

Add Search Function
Select and copy the following lines of HTML and then paste them into pages of the FAO site.

<!-- Atomz Search http://www.atomz.com/help/advsearch.htm -->
<form method="get" action="http://search.atomz.com/search/">
<input type="hidden" name=sp-a value="sp08162a01">
<input type="hidden" name="sp-k" value="Financial Aid">
<input size=25 name="sp-q" value="job">
<input type="submit" value="Search"> </form>
