My Moment of ACTION
In highschool, I was constantly surrounded by the petty drama that continued to pit women against one another. At one point, after school two of my close friends got into a heated confrontation about a boy they were supposedly both involved with. It drew a crowd and attracted a lot of attention which ultimately instigated the situation and blew it out of proportion. The confrontation became physical and instead of breaking it up, the crowd cheered them on even more. I couldn't take it, I was disgusted and intervened to pull them apart. While everyone around was upset with me for "spoiling the fun" I stood by my decision to be an objective voice and end a senseless and dangerous event.
