Who We Are

Learning and Development (L&D) offers organizational consulting, professional and career development, recognition, and performance management program and services within the Division of Student Affairs. Our work is strategically designed to enhance organizational readiness and workplace culture in service of the Berkeley student experience.

What We Offer

One of our primary goals at L&D is employee engagement. We offer:

  • Organizational Consulting: Consulting services to Executives, Senior Leaders and Front Line Manager to assist them in achieving strategic and tactical goals.

  • Professional & Career Development: Innovative learning and development programs to prepare staff for leadership roles in the Division of Student Affairs and at Berkeley.

  • Recognition: Employee recognition programs to honor the tremendous work and accomplishments of our employees in serving students, our community, the campus, and student affairs field.

  • Employee Onboarding: Robust employee onboarding programs for Student Affairs staff, front line leaders, and senior leaders to maximize success and retention.

  • Collaborative partnerships across the Division and campus.
