Understanding Your Alleged Violation Letter

If you have been (or think that you will be) referred to the Center for Student Conduct for a possible University Code of Conduct policy violation, you don’t need to contact us – we will contact you if we determine a policy violation may have occurred. Please note that we will contact you via the e-mail address you have registered on Bear Facts.

If the Center determines that a violation may have occurred, you will receive an e-mail from studentconduct@berkeley.edu with a subject containing “Alleged Violation Letter”.


STEP 1

Open the attachment and read the document in its entirety. Look over the incident description and alleged policy violations.
